Aaron Wunsch
 
 

Aaron is an accomplished and dedicated teacher. He is the Director of Keyboard Studies and Piano Curriculum at the Juilliard School, where he has worked with hundreds of talented young performers who are now active professional musicians. While at Juilliard, he has taught in over 20 different subject areas at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level. In addition to coaching chamber music, he teaches Piano Literature, directs the Piano Department’s PianoScope program, and works with graduate students in the classroom. His graduate courses have included Music and Politics; Music in New York; Chamber Music: From the Home to the Concert Hall; Chopin and Liszt; Music in Beethoven’s Vienna; and many others. 

He is also in demand as a piano teacher and has given master classes around the world. He frequently gives lecture performances for music teachers as well. He has adjudicated many piano competitions, including at Juilliard, the Manhattan School of Music, Mannes, and in several cities in China. 

Aaron was formerly Assistant Professor at William Paterson University in New Jersey, where he taught piano, piano pedagogy, and piano literature. He was also Visiting Professor at Shanghai Normal University in China.
